The Lord Haldon is the ideal venue for your Christmas Party. We can
cater for up to 160 people in our Belvedere Suite for a dinner and dance,
with ample parking available for your guests. We require a minimum of
80 people for sole occupancy and smaller groups can join one of our
Party Nights.
Our 3-course Christmas
Party Menu offers a tempting choice of seasonal dishes plus Coffee and
Mints and afterwards you can dance the night away to the sounds of our
resident disco.
Or you might prefer the
more intimate surroundings of the Courtyard Restaurant. Whatever your
needs, the event can be tailored to suit your individual company requirements.
Enjoy your celebrations to the full by staying after your party in an
en suite twin or double room, and start the day refreshed with a full
English breakfast.
Christmas at the Lord Haldon is a traditional quiet Christmas, with
plenty of good food, good company and the peaceful Devon countryside.
On our 3-night break you
will be welcomed at the Hotel with afternoon tea and mince pies on Christmas
Eve. Later that evening you are treated to a drink's reception where
you can meet your fellow guests and relax before enjoying a 3-course
dinner in the Courtyard Restaurant - your first taste of our Chef's
wonderful food.
After breakfast on Christmas
Day why not take a walk down the lane and take in the lovely Devon scenery,
while building up an appetite for your Christmas Lunch. This 5 course
extravaganza is also served in the Courtyard Restaurant where you will
enjoy the friendly and attentive service of our staff. If anyone has
any room left we serve a cold buffet in the evening.
Boxing Day is the day
for rest and recuperation, but of course, we don't let you go hungry
as the break includes a full English breakfast and 3 course dinner.
We are also open to non-residents for Christmas Day Lunch, a fabulous
5-course meal. Please give us a call to make a booking.
We bring in the New Year at the Lord Haldon with a splendid Gala Buffet
and Dance in the Belvedere Suite. A Soup and Starter are served at your
table and then you get to admire and partake of the splendid display
that Chef has put on the buffet table. Once you have finished your dessert
and coffee you can dance the night away to the sounds of our resident
DJ and see in the New Year in fine style.
The 2-night break includes the Gala Buffet on
New Year's Eve plus a 3-course dinner in the Courtyard Restaurant on
the second night of your choice.
Non-residents are welcome to join us for the New Year's Eve Gala Buffet
and dance. This is a very popular event so please book early.
